About
I'm Tim Affram — a creative technologist working at the seam between real-time 3D graphics, game development, and digital art. My projects tend to start with a visual idea and end up as something interactive you can run in a browser.
On the technical side, I build with WebGL, Three.js, and custom GLSL shaders. Recent experiments include an interactive 3D AI Orb with layered icosahedron spheres, Brownian-motion particles, and Unreal bloom; a Volumetric Clouds scene exploring depth and light; and a Fire VFX study recreating a reference effect to learn how it's put together. Salmon Run is a third-person runner game where you play as a salmon swimming upstream to spawn.
On the art side, I paint and render scenes that lean surreal and painterly — Simple House, Life on a Boat, Romantic Dinner, and Mountain Flyover sit in that space. Ananse Guitars is a guitar-skin design concept rooted in folklore.
Across all of it I'm interested in the same things: color, composition, and worlds that feel a little bit alien and a little bit inviting at the same time.
